While packing to leave her husband, a woman plays some records and, upon hearing some songs, reminisces about their life together. Various songs bring back memories of their courtship, their impulsive marriage, her tragic miscarriage and adoption of their child as well as the struggle to keep the child. Throughout these remembrances, the woman begins to ponder her decision about leaving the man she has shared so much with.
